MN Duct Pros Scammer Information

Unfortunately, in today's world scams have become a major issue affecting customers and businesses alike. We feel obligated to warn customers about some of the issues that we have personally dealt with and hope that it does not come off as scare tactics. We have seen many customers who were scammed in the past, we have had scammers claim to be our company, and we have even had scammers try to sell us their leads. 

Copycat Companies: MN Duct Pros has recently fallen victim to a group of scammers imitating our company. This scam can be seen all over local Facebook groups. They have used our business name and website, claiming to be us to acquire customers. Please be warned, the only two people you will ever talk to currently are the owners, Taylor and/or Nate. The only vehicle that will show up will have MN Duct Pros on it. Any form of contact besides those listed below is likely an imitator.

Underqualified Companies: To put it nicely, unfortunately there are just some companies that don't do a very good job. Whether they have underpowered equipment, undertrained staff, or don't truly care about their customers there are some bad apples in the industry. We recommend ever customer does their due diligence to combat some of these undesirable companies. Read reviews and check with the BBB for complaints. Ask friends or family for referrals.
Bait and Switch Companies: If it seems too good to be true, it probably is. If you call five companies and one seems to be oddly lower than the rest, they might be a bait and switch company. We have had customers sign up for $200 total duct packages from competitors, only to be told the final total will be 4-6 times higher once they are in the home. We have done free inspections after some of these cleanings and it's horrible to see what some of these companies do, or don't do for that matter. A quality cleaning with 2 people should take 3-6 hours based on the size of the home, sometimes even longer.
The Good Guy Companies: Moving past the warnings, there are a few great air duct cleaning companies in the area besides us. We have no problem giving a positive referral to our competitor companies if they deserve it. If you decide to go with another company, no hard feelings, feel free to reach out and see if we have seen their work and we will give you our honest opinion. We have seen a lot of customers blatantly ripped off and it truly gives the industry a bad name for the ones that do it right.
